Turner Schools, Folkestone

Kent Construction Consultants has been appointed as the projects Quantity Surveyors and Contract Administrators to facilitate full RIBA staged cost planning, tendering, and contract award, leading to the cost management throughout build stages. Turner Schools new horticulture classroom has been designed to reduce onsite carbon and is set to achieve net zero carbon status with consideration of the school’s sustainability requirements. The building has been designed using modern methods of construction and is prefabricated off site via a high performing panelised system with a steel frame structure and screw piles. We have worked closely with the school to maximise social engagement and improve life cycle cost management.
