Trainee Quantity Surveyor

Kai is currently undertaking a Quantity surveying and Commercial management BA degree at Nottingham Trent University. After successfully completing his first year, Kai has attained a strong understanding of the core principals of Surveying which are being built upon for his last two years through industry experience.

Kai has previously gained experience in estimating undertaking seasonal work experience for a local building firm where his measuring and cost estimation skills were developed to an advanced level. Furthermore, Kai has valuable knowledge of the construction industry through working for the housing developer Raycasa Ltd on a terraced property refurbishment in Ramsgate.

Since joining Kent Construction Consultant’s, Kai has been involved in multiple projects assisting with every aspect the Quantity Surveyor role requires, learning intensely from his colleagues along the way. He has also recently been sponsored by the Practice to join the Chartered Institute of Building  Student membership route alongside the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyor’s route.

Kai is a keen football and rugby fan and travel’s up to North London most weekend’s to support his team. He also play’s football for numerous teams in the local area. Kai has the aspiration to complete a Toughest mudder event, sponsored by Kent Construction Consultants.
